The Ultra Urban's 750W Thrillmatic motor isn't a typical hub motor. Zooz runs 52 volts through it, which is why the torque curve feels closer to a motorcycle than a commuter bike.

Built, Not Assembled

Most e-bikes at this price use MIG-welded aluminum frames — lighter on paper, more fragile in practice. The Ultra Urban uses TIG-welded 4130 chromoly steel throughout the frame, fork, and handlebars. The result is a frame that flexes slightly under stress instead of cracking, and holds up to the kind of riding the Ultra Urban was built for.
