The ST build runs 97mm urethane street wheels for the fastest, longest-range setup: 27 mph and up to 31 miles estimated. The AT build swaps in 7" pneumatic tires that soak up rough pavement, gravel and park paths, at 24 mph and up to 19 miles estimated. Same deck, motors and battery either way.

Bamboo flex that smooths out the ride

The bamboo and fiberglass deck has a natural flex that takes the edge off cracked pavement and expansion joints. It gives the GTR2 a lively, surf-style carve and stays comfortable on long rides.

Dual 3000W motors with smooth FOC control

Two 6368 brushless motors, each rated at 3000W, drive the rear wheels through belts. Field-oriented control smooths out throttle and braking, so starts feel strong but never jerky, and regenerative braking puts energy back into the pack as you slow down.

Phaze remote and the Explore by Evolve app

The Phaze remote gives you dual-trigger throttle and brake control in a compact handheld. Pair the board with the Explore by Evolve app over Bluetooth to adjust ride settings and check battery and ride data.

A 504Wh pack that charges in about 4 hours

The 36V 14Ah lithium-ion battery delivers up to 31 miles of estimated range on street wheels. A full charge takes about 4 hours with the Evolve 4A charger, so an evening plug-in covers the next day's riding.

FAQ

What's the difference between the ST and AT versions?

ST is the street build, with 97mm urethane wheels, a 27 mph top speed and up to 31 miles of estimated range. AT is the all-terrain build, with 7" pneumatic tires for rough surfaces, a 24 mph top speed and up to 19 miles of estimated range. The deck, motors, battery and remote are the same on both.

How far can the Bamboo GTR2 go on a charge?

Evolve estimates up to 31 miles on street wheels and up to 19 miles on all-terrain tires. Actual range depends on rider weight, hills, temperature and how hard you ride.

How long does it take to charge?

About 4 hours from empty with the Evolve 4A charger. GTR Series 1 and Series 2 boards share the same charger, so a Carbon GTR charger also works on a Bamboo GTR and vice versa.

Is there a rider weight limit?

Evolve rates the GTR2 for riders up to 220 lb (100 kg). Riding above that puts extra stress on the motors, battery and deck and reduces range and braking performance.

Can I ride it in the rain?

Evolve does not rate the GTR2 as water-resistant. It has dust seals and conformal coating on the electronics, but wet roads reduce grip and water damage is not covered by warranty, so we recommend riding in dry conditions. We carry Evolve and service it in-house, so tune-ups, wheel swaps and repairs are handled by our own service center.

How fast does it ship, and can I pick it up in person?

Evolve boards ship in 4–5 business days. You can also pick up at our NYC showroom at 651 W 27th St (Terminal Warehouse, Chelsea), open 7 days, 11AM–6PM. In-store pickups are assembled and safety-checked by our service team before handoff.
