FAQ

How far can the Stoke X go on a charge?

Evolve estimates up to 28 miles from the 432Wh battery. Actual range depends on rider weight, hills, temperature and riding mode.

How long does it take to charge, and can I use a GTR charger?

A full charge takes about 3.5–4 hours. The Stoke X uses its own charger. The GTR 4A charger is not compatible, but the Stoke X does work with Evolve's 5A fast charger.

How portable is it?

The Stoke X weighs about 23 lb and has a 33.5" deck with a kicktail, so it's easy to carry on the subway, up stairs or into the office.

Which wheels should I choose?

The 97mm wheels (Black ABEC, Ice Orange or Ice Blue) are Evolve's standard setup and give the smoothest, quickest setup on city pavement. The 85mm Orange Caguama wheels sit lower and feel more nimble. Evolve's speed and range figures are based on the 97mm setup.

Is there a rider weight limit?

Evolve rates most of its boards, including this compact class, for riders up to 220 lb (100 kg). Heavier riders will see shorter range and slower acceleration. We carry Evolve and service it in-house, so tune-ups, wheel swaps and repairs are handled by our own service center.

How fast does it ship, and can I pick it up in person?

Evolve boards ship in 4–5 business days. You can also pick up at our NYC showroom at 651 W 27th St (Terminal Warehouse, Chelsea), open 7 days, 11AM–6PM. In-store pickups are assembled and safety-checked by our service team before handoff.
