The standard Pint is smaller, cheaper, and tops out lower with roughly a third of the range. If you're riding a few blocks and nothing more, it's enough. The Pint X exists for people who found the Pint's range limiting — it roughly doubles the distance per charge and adds meaningful torque for hills, while keeping the same compact form factor. For most riders in a dense city, the extra range is what makes the board a genuine transportation option rather than a toy.

A Onewheel is not intuitive on the first attempt, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something. Most people need thirty to sixty minutes of practice before it clicks, and the first few sessions should happen somewhere flat, open, and forgiving. Wear a helmet and wrist guards — not optional advice, since falls tend to happen forward and fast. We'll walk you through the basics before you leave the showroom, which is worth considerably more than watching a video.

The Lightbar sits in the front footpad and gives you battery level, sensor pad status, and in-ride alerts without looking at a phone — which matters when both feet are committed and your attention should be on the road. The Onewheel app handles the rest: selecting ride modes, checking charge, and customizing how the board responds. Different modes genuinely change the character of the ride, so it's worth experimenting once you're past the learning curve.

Tire changes, footpad sensor issues, battery diagnostics, and warranty coordination are all handled at our Chelsea location, with techs on site seven days a week and walk-ins welcome. Onewheel tire swaps in particular are a job most owners would rather not do at home — it takes the right tools and a bit of practice.
