OEM front disc brake rotor for the Segway Xyber. This is the same rotor fitted from the factory, machined from 12Cr13 stainless with a polished finish.
Front only. The Xyber uses different rotors front and rear, and this one will not fit the rear wheel. Check which end you're working on before ordering.
Rotors are a wear item. They thin out over time, and a worn or warped one is among the most common causes of brake pulsing, squeal, or reduced stopping power — which matters more on the Xyber than on a lighter bike.
Worth replacing when you feel pulsing through the brake lever, hear persistent squeal that new pads don't cure, or see visible scoring, bluing, or a lip forming at the outer edge of the rotor. Rotors should be replaced in the same service as pads whenever they are near their wear limit — new pads on a worn rotor won't bed properly and both wear out faster.
