Zooz Ultra Flex G2 Low Bar Electric Bike

The G2 Low Bar swaps the previous tall bars for 6" risers and adds a moto-style number plate. It sounds cosmetic and isn't. Dropping the bars brings your hands and upper body closer to the bike's center of mass, which is the same reason dirt bikes run low bars — you get more leverage over the chassis and can move the bike underneath you instead of steering it from a distance. On rough terrain the difference in control is immediate.

At 52V 25Ah, the Flex carries 1,300Wh — more than any other bike Zooz builds. Zooz rates it at 25 to 40 miles on throttle alone, and that spread is honest rather than hedging: how you ride this bike genuinely determines where you land. Commuting on pavement with the suspension soaking up bumps gets you the top of the range. Treating hills and terrain like a playground gets you considerably less. The pack uses 21700 cells on a proprietary co-molded metal plate with a spring-loaded locking pin, and charges in about five hours.

The frame and bars are TIG-welded 4130 chromoly steel. It's heavier than aluminum and costs more to build, but it flexes and absorbs rather than cracking, it can be repaired by any competent welder, and it holds up to the stress of a heavy bike carrying a rider over repeated impacts. On a full-suspension bike that's going to see jumps and drops, frame material is the spec that determines whether it's still solid in year five.
